What personal data we collect and for what purpose

Comments


If a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data indicated in the comment form as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent data for spam detection purposes.

An anonymized string created from your email address ("hash") may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you use it. The Gravatar Privacy Policy is available here: https://digitalbuddha.agency/privacy/ . Once your comment has been approved, your profile image will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media files

If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you might want to avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata because they may contain your GPS location data. Visitors can extract this information by downloading the images from the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can have your name, email address and website stored in a cookie. This is done for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in the data again when you comment again. These cookies are stored for one year.

If you have an account on the site and log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports the cookie, the cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
